I started baking as a young girl and have been doing special occasion cakes for over 30 years. This started as a hobby then went on to work as a pastry chef in a local hotel for several years.

I enjoyed making a varied selection of desserts and cakes for the hotel and decided it was time to try it on my own.

So Crumbs was started November 2008 based in the Scottish Borders town of Innerleithen.

A recent addition in Aprill 2010 was the opening of Crumbs Bed & Breakfast.
